Day 1 - Bridgetown, Barbados

Before you sail away from the white sandy beaches of Barbados take time to enjoy the sights of Bridgetown, the island’s capital. Visit National Heroes square and see the statue of Lord Nelson, or take a walk around the Jubilee Gardens. As you take high tea and talk about cricket with a local remember, this tropical paradise is as close to Britain as you will get on your Caribbean honeymoon cruise.

Day 2 - Captain’s Best, Grenadines

De-stress as your Captain selects which of the Grenadines’ sandy islands to spend the day at. Today is a beach day; spend time together enjoying the luxurious trappings of the ship or lounging in the shade of a palm tree and listen to the lapping of the clear blue waves along the shore. In the evening enjoy an à la carte dinner in the ships dining room.

Day 3 - Grenada

When Columbus first sighted Grenada he named it Conception Island. One ninth of this untouched haven is wildlife preserve or national park making it perfect for exploring. Close your eyes and smell vanilla in the air as you relax together on the beach, or be amazed by Creole cooking after a day of excitement and watersports. Grenada has more spices per square mile than anywhere else on the planet and her spice is only matched by the passion of her people. For a spectacular view of Grenada take the Sendall Tunnel to old Fort George before returning to the most picturesque city in the Caribbean.

Day 4 - Tobago Cays

Tobago Cays national park is superb for underwater exploration. The tiny islands of the Cays are surrounded by coral reefs and submarine gardens. There are picnic and camping sites but the Cays remain largely undisturbed and perfect for relaxing on the beach or learning how to snorkel. More experienced snorkelers will enjoy the waters around the horseshoe reef but are advised that they can be a little choppy.

Day 5 - St. Vincent (am), Bequia (pm)

In the morning Royal Clipper usually anchors on the private island resort of Young’s Island, a ten minute ferry ride away from St. Vincent. Enjoy a morning visiting the churches or forts of the island, eating fresh fruit from the market or just dozing on the beach. In the afternoon we depart for Bequia.

When we dock at Bequia, hire a boat and explore the coastline at your own speed or take a water taxi to one of the secluded bays. For transport around the island you can find land based taxis underneath the almond trees at the harbour. Bequia offers a fantastic selection of restaurants and eateries so you can enjoy a meal onboard, venture out into town or spoil yourself and combine the two

Day 6 - Beach (am), Fort de France (pm), Martinique

Beach (am), Fort de France (pm), Martinique A little piece of France in the tropical sun, Martinique is a Caribbean island with a twist of French sophistication and a dash of down to earth Creole spice. Browsing the boutiques of Fort de France you’ll find luxury brands like Chanel and Limoges are readily available. For a tour around what the locals call, the rum capital of the world, why not take the Route des Rhoums and see the world’s finest rum distilleries.

Day 7 - St. Lucia

The first thing you will notice about St. Lucia as you approach from the sea is the mountains. Thrusting up from the Caribbean Sea, these lush green giants provide a clue to the islands volcanic origin. You can walk through St. Lucia’s rainforest, bask in the sun on one of the gorgeous beaches or stay by your pool and nibble hors d’oeuvres.

Day 8 - Bridgetown, Barbados

Return to Bridgetown for the midpoint of your cruise. Day 9 - St. Lucia

If on your second trip to St. Lucia you’re eager for something a little energetic then take an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle / Quad Bike) over the mountains and see the inside of the rainforest speed past you. For those who want a more relaxing mode of travel why not take a jeep safari on the hunt for the rare Jacquot parrot. Finish the day strolling round the port or dangling your toes in the water and staring at the horizon.

Day 10 - Cabrits & Roseau, Dominica

St Kitts is like a sunny day in Devon set against the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. Wallow in a lagoon and let the day pass you by, or venture into town to buy a bottle of rum. The beautiful vistas and gentle green landscape near the coast has made the island popular with golfers. The island’s capital Basseterre is not only an important centre of commerce in the region but is an ideal place to spend half a day shopping for curios.

Day 13 - Iles des Saintes

Day 14 - Martinique

Martinique Revisit the delights of Martinique. Follow a morning on the beach with a trip to the island's capital. Day 15 - Return Flight back to the UK
