Day 1 -
Venice, City of Sighs
Italy’s canalled city is the home of Verdi, Puccini and Vivaldi. Tour the canals by gondola, see the Piazza San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and La Fenice Opera House or discover the less well travelled sights, like the sacristy at Chiesa Di Santa Maria Della Salute or Arabica coffee from Il Caffè del Doge at the Ponte del Lovo. From Palladio’s Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, to Murano’s glass works, Venice is the soul of romance and makes a perfect start to your Mediterranean honeymoon.

Day 2 -
Rovinj, Croatia
The red tiled houses of Rovinj rub against the waves in this typical Mediterranean town. They’ve hauled a catch from the Adriatic Sea for centuries and have shown no sign of stopping in recent years. Gastrophile’s will love the local specialities of sea food and “fuzi” pasta. Ancient culture and modern Mediterranean life blend seamlessly in this culturally rich town. The three nave church of St. Euphemia dominates the town but the Franciscan monastery and the Romanesque heptagonal chapel, Rovinj’s oldest monument, are also well worth a visit before returning to the luxury of your cabin.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 -
Hvar, Croatia
The smell of bruised lavender floats over the fields and valleys of this tiny Adriatic isle. Hvar has been a romantic getaway for Romans, Byzantines, Venetians and Austro-Hungarian royalty because of its idyllic location off the Dalmatian coast and the crystal blue waters that lap against the intricate coastline. In 1612 one of Europe’s first public theatres was established here and can still be seen today at the Venetian Arsenal. The early Baroque Cathedral of Pope St. Stephen is in an almost perfect condition and the cloistered Franciscan monastery makes a serene addition to any romantic day trip.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 -
Beach & Dubrovnik, Croatia
“Those who seek paradise on earth should come to Dubrovnik.”
George Bernard Shaw
The reflection of Dubrovnik’s city wall floats across the blue sea waters of this picturesque city. Crowned by the Minceta Tower, the 10th century walls protected a powerful city state during the Middle Ages but today they overlook an Adriatic haven. The people of Dubrovnik are still very much in touch with their sea faring past but focus their energies on diving, fishing, sailing and adventure activities on the sea making this the perfect spot for some physical exertion.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 -
Kotor, Montenegro
You might think you were sailing up a fjord but the Bay of Kotor is actually a submerged river canyon. Stunningly beautiful the bay combines the rugged scenery of the Norwegian coast with the steamy weather of the Mediterranean Sea. There are several picturesque villages along the bay, or boka, including the medieval city of Kotor. Founded by the Romans and protected by its isolation, Kotor is the perfect lover’s getaway, mixing history, beauty and seclusion.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 -
Corfu, Greece
Corfu is a Greek island paradise in the Ionian Sea, the stretch of the Mediterranean between Greece and southern Italy. Corfu is rightly known throughout the world for its beaches, perfect waters and olive trees. Relax on the beach or sample some traditional Greek dishes further inland. For a day trip we recommend visiting Palaiokastritsa, where myth has it that Odysseus was washed ashore.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7 -
At Sea
As the wind steers you towards Sicily take advantage of your ship’s extensive facilities. Plot your course for tomorrow in the library or enjoy a massage in the underwater spa.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 8 -
Taormina, Sicily
The changing tides at the Strait of Messina cause a naturally occurring whirlpool. As you crash through the narrow strait under full sail spare a thought for the sailors of ancient Greece who named it the monster, Charybdis. You have nothing to fear however, and nor did the ancient Greeks, as Charybdis isn’t large enough to affect the course of your five mast ship.
Resting on the shoulder of Mt. Etna Taormina has been called “the greatest work of art and nature.” Looking down towards the Greek amphitheatre from on top of the Saracen Castle it is easy to see why.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 9 -
Capri, Italy
What Venice is to canals, Capri is to craggy white cliffs and lush greenery. Emperor Tiberius held notorious bacchanals in his Imperial villa here and there is something pleasantly self indulgent about the island that makes you want to pamper yourself.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 10 -
Ponza, Italy
The Tyrrhenian Sea shimmers around the harbour of Ponza Town. Pastel coloured houses rise above the waters in neat terraced rows and look down on the moorings of white luxury yachts and ramshackle fishing boats. Most of the beach on Ponza is inaccessible by land, so once you’ve found the perfect alcove you can make the most of it with very little chance of being disturbed.
Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 11 -
Civitavecchia, Port of Rome
You disembark your tall ship at Civitavecchia for the train to Rome. If possible take a brief tour of the city, or relax in a café on the edge of a municipal square and reminisce over your perfect honeymoon before embarking your flight for home.
