We create a personalised itinerary which will feature as many activities as you wish, allowing you and your partner to enjoy the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. There is a wide choice of activities including husky safaris, skiing and snowmobiling. Evenings can be spent relaxing together in front of the fireplace or in the lounge bar. The accommodation on these winter honeymoons is at a wilderness lodge in Rautavaara, which is surrounded by hilly forests, a beautiful lake and rivers – the perfect setting for outdoors lovers. Within the resort there is a variety of amenities including an art gallery and chapel.
Day 1 -
Your Romantic Winter Honeymoon

Arrive in Finland where you can spend the first day of your romantic winter honeymoon exploring the beautiful arctic wilderness of Rautavaara. You and your beloved can go on a peaceful stroll through the snow-covered forests, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Later you have the choice of snowmobiling, dog sledding or a horse sleigh ride as your winter activity of the day – a unique honeymoon experience which will provide fun and laughter for both of you.

Days 2 to 7 -
A Personalised Itinerary

For the rest of your winter honeymoon you are given the freedom to spend the days as you wish, so that your time away is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. These winter honeymoons include two romantic dinners by an open fire, in a traditional kammi building, for some extra-special alone time with your new partner. Three outdoor activities of your choice are included in the honeymoon package; they are dispersed throughout your stay, adding up to 5 hours duration in total. There are a wide range of exciting outdoor activities which can also be added including:
Cross-country skiing (25 km of trails - 5.6 km is suitable for beginners and trainees)
Snowshoeing
Ice fishing
Kick sledding
Snowmobile safaris (please note that a valid driving licence is required to drive a snowmobile)
Husky sledding
Horse sleigh rides.
All of our exhilarating activities are accompanied by an experienced guide. There are also many indoor activities to participate in such as wall climbing, archery and handicrafts.
